As the ANSI-accredited standards developer for the NEMT sector, NEMTAC® depends on diverse Advisory Committees and Workgroups to guide standards, expand accreditation, and support organizational initiatives. Our volunteers represent the 13 primary NEMT stakeholder groups.

Develops and maintains accreditation standards, best practices, and certification requirements to support quality and accountability among NEMT providers.

Compliance & Regulatory Advisory Committee (CRAC)

Develops compliance policies, ethics frameworks, and regulatory standards to ensure alignment with laws, mitigate risk, and strengthen accountability across the NEMT system.

Technology & Innovation Advisory Committee (TIAC)

Develops standards for technology platforms, including routing, dispatch, automation, cybersecurity, and interoperability. Guides mobile integration, data exchange protocols, and the national NEMT data repository to support secure, efficient, and connected operations.
