NEMTAC® Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: April 10, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the websites, platforms, and services operated by the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Accreditation Commission, Inc. (“NEMTAC®,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including nemtac.co, nemtproviderregistry.org, and nemttoday.com, as well as related services such as credentialing, accreditation, education programs, event participation, and communications.
By accessing or using these platforms or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of NEMTAC services.
NEMTAC operates an integrated system that includes standards development, accreditation programs, education delivery, event management, and the NEMTAC® National Provider Registry (NNPR™). The NNPR™ functions as a credentialing and data exchange system supporting provider validation, compliance monitoring, and accreditation readiness.
Credentialing infrastructure is provided by Professional Credentials Exchange, Inc. (“ProCredEx”), which operates as a service provider to NEMTAC and processes credential data on NEMTAC’s behalf. ProCredEx provides the technical platform and operational support for credential intake, validation workflows, monitoring, and reporting, while NEMTAC retains sole authority over program standards, registry status determinations, and accreditation decisions.
For purposes of these Terms:
Credentialing, validation, or registry participation does not constitute accreditation.
By using NEMTAC services, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to submit information on behalf of yourself or your organization. You further agree that all information provided will be accurate, complete, and current, and that you will update such information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.
You authorize NEMTAC and its service providers, including ProCredEx, to process and manage submitted information in accordance with these Terms and applicable policies.
All content, standards, materials, frameworks, and system structures associated with NEMTAC services are owned by NEMTAC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the services for their intended purposes. Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, extract, or commercially exploit NEMTAC content or registry data without prior written authorization.
The NNPR™ operates as a structured credentialing and validation system designed to standardize provider information, support compliance transparency, and facilitate participation in accreditation pathways. Participation in the Registry requires submission of credential data, which may include organizational information, licensing and regulatory status, insurance documentation, operational capabilities, and other materials necessary to evaluate credential eligibility.
Upon submission, credential data is subject to review in accordance with NEMTAC-defined criteria. This process may include initial validation, periodic revalidation, and ongoing monitoring activities such as expiration tracking, consistency checks, and compliance reporting. These processes are designed to support documentation-based validation and do not constitute a comprehensive audit or continuous supervision of provider operations.
Credential data may be shared with authorized entities designated by the provider, including payers, brokers, and other participants in credentialing workflows. Such sharing is limited to the minimum necessary information required to support credential verification, compliance evaluation, and participation in relevant programs.
Validation and compliance reporting may include attestation based on available documentation at the time of review. Any such validation or attestation reflects documentary review and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of ongoing compliance, operational performance, or service quality. Users and third parties remain responsible for independent verification where appropriate.
NEMTAC maintains internal administrative and procedural controls governing credential validation, monitoring, and data access. These controls are periodically reviewed to support consistency, integrity, and program reliability.
NEMTAC reserves the right to request additional documentation, re-evaluate submitted information, modify or revoke validation status, and suspend or remove registry participation at its discretion.
The Registry serves as a credentialing foundation that may support accreditation readiness; however, registry participation, validation, or monitoring does not constitute accreditation and does not create any entitlement to accreditation status. Accreditation determinations are made separately under NEMTAC standards and procedures.
Users may not represent themselves as accredited unless such accreditation has been formally granted by NEMTAC.
Certain provider information may be displayed publicly as part of registry listings, including basic identification and service-related information. More sensitive credentialing data, including licenses, insurance documentation, and compliance records, is restricted and accessible only to authorized parties within credentialing workflows.
NEMTAC does not control and is not responsible for how third parties use information accessed through the Registry.
Users agree not to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; to maintain the accuracy of submitted data; and to refrain from misrepresenting credentialing, validation, or accreditation status. Users further agree not to use NEMTAC platforms for unlawful, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes.
NEMTAC reserves the right to take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of access, in response to violations of these Terms.
The collection, use, and protection of information are governed by the NEMTAC Privacy Policy. NEMTAC and its service providers implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information; however, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users acknowledge that submission of information through electronic systems involves inherent risk.
NEMTAC utilizes third-party platforms to support its operations, including credentialing infrastructure (ProCredEx), education delivery (Thinkific), customer relationship management and communications (GoHighLevel), event registration (RegFox), and event engagement (EventMobi).
These providers process information on behalf of NEMTAC. While NEMTAC selects reputable providers, it does not control their independent systems and is not responsible for their performance, availability, or security practices.
By submitting information through NEMTAC platforms, users provide express consent to receive communications, including email, SMS/text messages, and event-related notifications. Consent is obtained through affirmative user action at the time of submission or registration.
Communications may include service-related updates, program information, reminders, and event communications. Message frequency may vary, and standard message and data rates may apply. Users may opt out of SMS communications by following opt-out instructions (such as replying STOP) and may unsubscribe from email communications through provided mechanisms. Certain communications necessary for service delivery may continue.
NEMTAC events, including Transform conferences, utilize third-party platforms for registration and engagement. Information collected in connection with events may be used for event operations, logistics, and communications.
Where disclosed at the time of registration or where consent is provided, certain attendee information, such as name, organization, and contact details, may be shared with event sponsors or partners to facilitate participation and networking.
NEMTAC does not guarantee uninterrupted access to its platforms and reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NEMTAC and its service providers, including ProCredEx, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the services, reliance on registry or credential data, or decisions made by third parties.
All services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While NEMTAC provides credentialing and validation processes, such processes support decision-making but do not replace independent due diligence.
Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NEMTAC and its service providers from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from inaccurate or fraudulent submissions, misuse of credentialing or accreditation status, violation of these Terms, or failure to comply with applicable laws.
NEMTAC may suspend or terminate access to its services for violation of these Terms, submission of inaccurate information, failure to maintain required credentials, or misuse of the platform. Upon termination, users must cease any representation of registry participation or status.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Arizona.
